This is a very nice, city-owned park with view of Scotts Bluff. Sites are much larger than average with paved roads, parking, and patios. Wi-Fi at our site. Rate reflects GS discount. Park is very well maintained and quiet. Only negative concerns site design. We have a 40' coach with slides on both sides. The electric pedestal and water hook-up are very tall and right against the parking pad. In order to open our street side slide we had to park partially on the patio. But this was a small inconvenience in order to enjoy this nice park.

$33 rate is Good Sam rate of $29 plus $4 occupancy tax/night. This is a nice park: clean and well maintained. It's close to interstate, but pretty quiet. Full hook-ups and Wi-fi at site all worked well. Most sites are pull throughs. Long term/permanent sites are back-ins around the perimeter of the park. Some reviews have mentioned noise from Harley Davidson dealer next door. Was not a problem for us: all is quiet after 5pm. We would definitely stay here again.

This is a fairly new KOA, so it's clean and everything works well. Rate is for 50 amp FHU site: $36 KOA discount rate plus $4 tax. Not a good bargain for what is basically a gravel parking lot; no landscaping, only a few small trees. A previous review mentioned concrete patios: False. Nothing here but gravel. However, it is in good condition with no ruts, pot holes, or muddy spots. Sites are level and of adequate size for our 40' coach. Wi-fi at site works well. Some noise from interstate and a railroad about a mile away. Noise varies based on wind direction. We stayed 2 nights to see Cheyenne, but would only use this as a one night stop in the future.

Rate reflects monthly rate of $525 plus electric. This is our second stay. We use the long-term sites so we have to connect water and sewer under the coach. Standard RV sites are available, all are back-ins, $180/wk. The new management team is great. Much better service than the previous manager. Wi-Fi is out of range in the long-term sites, but its a short walk to the club house to get it. Should work fine in the standard RV sites since they are around the club house. Very nice pool. We will be back.

A good overnight stop: but vastly over-rated by Trailer Life, which is common if you buy a big ad. Also over-rated by some on this web site, which is quite unusual. Maintenance is overdue: grass needs to be mowed, mini-golf is in disrepair, some roads (ours especially) need ruts filled and gravel added. It would be muddy at our site if it rained. The park needs a general litter pick-up. But it has good points. It's close to I-80, but there is not much noise. Wi-Fi at the site works fine. There are shade or sun sites available. Most sites are level. There is a nice golf course next door. There are few long-term residents, but the ones that are here need to clean up their sites. We would use again as a one night stop.

The park is heavily wooded and seems to be a weekend or summer place for nearby cities. Many seasonal sites, but most are well kept. The good: Lots of shade, trees are trimmed so nothing scrapes the top of coach. The sites are level and well graveled. Electric and water are fine. The bad: Lots of shade, no satellite reception. There is no cable TV system. Most sites have no sewer. No escort to site and trash in the fire ring. We would use this again for a one night stop, but nothing more.

Nice park with a c-store, gas and diesel and a grill. They had good hamburgers. The Wi-Fi is in the store, not at the sites. The road noise is constant, but this is a smooth section of interstate, so a fan drowns out a lot of it. Very well kept park with level sites. Would be an 8 if not for road noise and Wi-Fi not at site. We would stay again for a one night stop.

A good overnight stop, not a destination park. Friendly staff, escorted to our site. Has a nice, clean laundry room. It's close to the interstate, but very quiet. The sites are a bit small and there are many long-term sites, but they are neat and well kept. The utilities and Wi-Fi worked fine. We would stop here again.

Most sites are pull throughs, excellent gravel roads, shady and grassy sites. Park is well kept with few seasonal sites. Very nice tent area. It's close to interstate, but far enough there is little noise. Train track is about a mile away, so some noise from that. We were escorted to our site. No satellite reception because of trees. No cable, but many over the air channels. Electric, water, sewer all in good condition. Wi-Fi signal weak, but usually works fine. We would definitely stay here again.

We called ahead and were able to get a river-front site with a large concrete parking pad not 50 feet from the Mississippi River. Most parking pads, however, are gravel but all sites are level. The park had just reopened after being flooded for a week by heavy spring rains, but the owners were working very hard to get things back in shape. The park may be a 9 after it is back to normal. Only noise at night is tug boats on the river.

Nice KOA, but not a good value, especially for an overnight stop, hence the 6 rating. They are trying to be a "destination" park with a small petting zoo, nightly campfire circle, and a small cafe with a limited menu. Owners were very nice and the park was well kept, especially for a KOA. But we did not think it was a good value ($40 less KOA member discount) and will not stay again.

This is an older park that is actually on old "Route 66" but also right next to I-40. Call ahead if you need a 50 amp pull-through because there are only 10 or 12 of them. These sites have side-by-side hook-ups but are so large that it was not a problem at all. All the 50 amp pull-throughs were full by 6pm, but many smaller 30 amp sites were available. Park is about 4 miles from town and there is nothing between the park and town. Park was clean and well kept, but nothing fancy. Great overnight stop and we will use it again.

This is a very nice park, but not really big-rig friendly. We called 2 days ahead for a "big-rig towing" pull-through. But when we got there we found the park had only 2 sites that we would fit in and they were taken. Solution was to block the entrance to another site that was vacant. This is really a summer destination park for older persons. Park is extremely well kept and there is absolutely no junk. Owners live in a house on site. Far off the highway, so very quiet.

Small campground right at summit of Raton Pass, 7 miles north of the town of Raton. Great views, very quiet, but no shade and not really big-rig friendly. Call ahead if you have a big-rig towing because there are only 2 or 3 pull-throughs that you will fit in. Owners are quite nice and everything was in good condition.

Older park, but new owners (3 yrs ago) are making improvements. Fresh gravel on roads and sites, recent cable system, electric posts appear new. Everything worked fine. We requested and got a level pull through, but many sites aren't quite level. Park is about a mile off I-40, so it is very quiet. We would stay here again.

This is pretty much a typical KOA. Staff was friendly and everything worked. Right off the interstate, but a fan was adequate to drown the noise at night. No cable, but several over the air channels. Interior roads in bad repair: Ruts from rain wash and there seems to be a couple of water leaks or underground springs that made the way out from our site go through a mud hole. We and others avoided this by going the "wrong way" on another road. However, we would stay here again as a one night stop.

This appears to be an older KOA with some recent improvements. Cable system and electric boxes appear new. Fresh gravel on most sites and roads, but could use some more on roads. Long, level pull throughs. Staff very friendly and helpful. We would rate it higher except that is is right next to a rough section of interstate and the trucks "thump" through all night. The fan that we use to drown the noise was not adequate. We realize the owners can't help the noise, but we probably will not stay here again.

This is an "Older persons" mobile home park with two types of RV spaces: Short-term are back-in only, $180/wk, wi-fi available. Long-term are actually mobile home spaces: Some back-in and some pull-through, $525/month plus electric (works out to $20/day), no wi-fi. We stayed 6 weeks in a long-term site that was shaded and very quiet, but with 2 downsides: The water and sewer connections are under your vehicle and you are expected to mow your grass with a push mower they provide. We were here to visit family in Denver and this was a great location for us. The park is older but well kept, quiet day and night, and reasonably secure with only one way in and out. We will definitely stay here again.

New construction, so everything is clean and works. Paved roads, sites, and patios. All sites are level and landscaped. No permanent units allowed. One of the nicest, best run parks we have seen. No pool or playground, so doesn't attract kids (a plus to us), but there are a few families with kids here.

We stayed here to attend "Camp Freightliner" since the park is only 5 miles from the Freightliner service center. The park is mostly seasonal or permanent residents and is poorly maintained. A lawn mower and some gravel would fix the most glaring problems. We had a 50 amp big rig site that was pretty level with good electric voltage and water pressure. Cars start leaving the park at 5am, I guess going to work, and the noise from the interstate is especially noticeable at night. The staff is very friendly and the park is very convenient to I-85. There is no cable TV or internet access.

One of the nicest parks we have ever visited. All roads are paved, and all sites have paved parking and patios. Since this is a "condo" park, each site is individually owned and amenities vary by site. Also, some sites are a bit narrow, but all are nicely landscaped. We stayed in a "Forest site" which is the cheapest. It was one of the largest sites and backed up to a golf course. Plan to drive the one mile to the beach, but you can walk or bike. There is ample parking at the beach access point. We will definitely come back.

A very quiet country setting. The nearest grocery and fuel are about 9 miles. It is very well kept with owners living on site. There are lots of kids on the weekends, but well behaved and quiet hours were observed. It is worth the drive from I-26 to stay here and we will come back.

Very convenient to I-81, but just far enough away that it is quiet. We use this as a one night stop between NC and NY. Big rig sites are long and wide and somewhat away from the pool and other kiddie activities. We have stayed here 3 times, each only one night.

Slightly above average for a KOA, but must have absentee owners because the staff doesn't really care if you stay here or not. Our only request at check-in was for a level site. To get our motorhome level both wheels were off the ground on the curb side. Published rates look average, but then there is an extra charge for cable, etc. By the time we got a level site and paid for the extras, we wished we had stayed somewhere else.

Very overrated by Woodalls, and the park's own ad. We reserved a lake-front site, but when we got there they gave us a site nowhere near the lake, plus another rig was already in our assigned site. (No escort to site.) Unhooked our toad and drove back to office where they gave us another site that was only 30 amps. Drove back to the office and they gave us another site that was so narrow that we couldn't open our slide-outs. Drove back to the office and asked for our money back: Then they escorted us to a nice site by the lake. Other than a nice pool, park is only average and we will not stay here again.

This is an older park. The owners are also older, and rely on hired help to maintain the park. Water pressure is good, electric voltage can be low on hot days. Not all sites are level, but most of the back-ins are more level than the pull-throughs. There are many extended stay sites for construction (pipeline) workers. They are good neighbors, but go to work early (starting at 5 AM) six days a week. They, and the park, are quiet at night. We stay here to visit relatives in NYC and use the train from Harriman, NY, to get into the city at Penn Station.

Very nice and well kept park. Not crowded in spring and fall, which is when we visit. We stay in the middle of the park instead of nearest the ocean because the middle does not fill up even on weekends in spring and fall. Good water pressure, good electric voltage, prompt trash pick-up twice a day. Roads are paved, but sites are grass, so some are not completely level.
